maternity favourites

Just a few maternity favourites that I dont think Ive put up here yet.

Stormy wedding

Its funny how the weather can determine how a wedding will pan out for the day, the bride was supposed to arrive by boat and there was supposed to be a beautiful ceremony in the gardens but mother nature had other plans.
Things did have to be re-arranged for this bride and groom on this very stormy day but it didnt take the beauty away from the event. Although some things dont quite go as planned because of the weather, it doesnt stop beautiful shots with stormy cloudy skies. Here are some of my favourites from the day.

Fun times

We thought we needed something to do on the weekends to occupy our selves and a pulling tool for our kids to want to spend some time with us and create memories in their child lives so we went and brought a jetski....Whoo-hoo, what a blast it is, so fun and dangerously fast. I love it, the kids do too. Before we even connected it to our car our little fella jumped on it and wanted us to drive with him sitting on the back. The next day, he woke us and just wanted to go sit in the shed and look at it.

Heres a few pictures with our jetski adventures so far.

I photographed Jason and Joanne's wedding just over a year ago.

Jo is my cousin and I know how long she has waited to meet her perfect man and get married and I know how long she has waited to one day become a mother, and what a cute baby you guys have. Thanks for having me along, you guys were great..

Sarah and Scott

I think it might have been fate that brang these two love birds together, they were both at the right spot at the right time, not just that, Scott impressed Sarah with some fish and she was hooked..
Line sinker and all.
I think thats all I can say about how these two met and fell in love...
These two were so much fun to work with, thank you guys for having me along as your photographer, I had fun and loved shooting you two, so happy and so in love.
Thank you Christine for assisting me for once as usually I am the one assisting you, I hope you had a great day too..
Here are some of my favorite images from the day.

Babies are beautiful

I managed to snap a few nice pictures of Emily while her mummy came to visit us and introduce us to her brand new little girl..I held her and she felt so small, this feeling I love, when my children were that tiny.
For a split second I thought about maybe one more.. One more, WAKE UP LESLEY, I thought to myself, are you crazy??
I absolutely love and adore babies, more so if they are mine, I bond with them instantly, I loved holding them, cuddling them and feeding them, waking up in the middle of the night to feed and bond with my precious little one is the most challenging but the most that we bonded.. Those memories are all so dear to me, my baby is nearly 3, Knowing that my days for being pregnant (I actually love being pregnant) and having no more tiny babies does sadden me but we all have to be realistic about things and life..4 is totally enough..

Congratulations Candice, Rhett and Elai, she is beautiful.

A couple of weeks ago I photographed a beautiful couple who have been married for over 60 years..WOW, what a sweet and beautiful thing to see..When we were out I was watching them and how they were and they were inseperable, walking holding each other, making sure the other was ok.

It was my old friend who approached me to take photos of them and get some of her and her family together, It was really good catching up with Misty and her family as I havnt seen them in over 15 years, well her family, I seen Misty a couple of years ago. As the saying goes but they all still look great, they just get better with age like a good bottle of wine. Thanks for the fun and the laughs from the shoot.
